Something broken, something wrong, or something you need a human for. All three are below.
Questions we actually get
Is that really a day?
Usually, yes. Every holiday in the app was checked against a source before it shipped, and the ones we could not stand behind were cut rather than kept for the laugh. Spreadsheet Day is real. Iguana Awareness Day is real. We were as surprised as you are.
You got one wrong.
Tell us and we will fix it. Wrong date, wrong fact, wrong story, or a day that does not exist at all. Content updates reach the app without an update from the App Store, so a correction can go live the same day.
Why is a holiday locked?
The free app shows several holidays a day. Pro removes the ads and unlocks the rest. Some days lock nothing at all, because some days genuinely only have a few.
How do I cancel Pro?
On your iPhone: Settings, tap your name at the top, then Subscriptions, then That's a Day? Pro. Cancelling there stops the renewal and you keep Pro until the period you paid for runs out.
Apple handles subscriptions, not us, so that screen is the only place it can be done. We cannot cancel or refund from our side. Refunds go through reportaproblem.apple.com.
I paid, but the app still shows ads.
Open Settings in the app and tap Restore Purchases. That asks Apple who you are and re-applies anything you have bought. It is what you want on a new phone, after a reinstall, or if a purchase was interrupted. Make sure you are signed in with the same Apple Account you bought it on.
"Where to celebrate" is empty.
Not every holiday has somewhere to go. National Napping Day is best observed at home. When a holiday does have places, the section needs location access and something actually nearby. In a small town a niche day may find nothing, which is the honest answer rather than a bug.
The widget is showing yesterday.
Widgets are refreshed by iOS on its own schedule, not by us, and it occasionally runs late. Opening the app usually nudges it. If it stays stuck for more than a day, remove the widget and add it again.
Do I need an account?
No. There is no sign-up, no password, and no email required to use the app. We would rather not hold your details than hold them carefully.
Still stuck
A real person reads this. If something in the app went wrong, a screenshot and your iPhone model help more than you would think. If you are reporting a holiday that is wrong, tell us the date so we can find it.
